Sean Shannon Music Foundation Bursary Concert

At the end of June, I had the privilege of playing at the Sean Shannon Music Foundation Bursary Concert at glór in Ennis. It was an beautiful evening of music, honouring the legacy of Sean and celebrating the launch of the Sean Shannon Bursary, which will help cover the costs associated with music tuition for the chosen student. The Foundation is taking donations on their website, and it's really an excellent cause, helping foster the next generation of musical talent in Ireland. I want to mention in particular Sean’s friends, the amazing founders of the Sean Shannon Music Foundation (www.seanshannonmusicfoundation.com), Margot Maurel, Aoife O'Donovan, and Rachel Reid for the incredible work they have done to pay tribute to Sean.
