Cambridge Early Music Baroque Summer School 2025

This July, I was lucky enough to be one of the participants in the Cambridge Early Music Baroque Summer School! The inspiration for this year’s summer school was The Tempest by William Shakespeare. At the end of the week, we put on a production of the semi-opera The Tempest, by John Weldon, with some songs and dances by Purcell and Locke. The week was lead by Laurence Cummings, with excellent tuition from a group of inspirational tutors. We also got the opportunity to work on chamber music throughout the week; I played some gorgeous Telemann, Williams, Purcell, and Handel.
